This single sofa bed is designed to function as both a compact seating option and a sleeping surface. During normal use, it operates as an armless chair suitable for living rooms, bedrooms, or home offices. When needed, the integrated pull-out mechanism allows the seat to extend and form a single sleeping area.
The design includes an adjustable backrest that can slide backward or forward to change the seating depth. This allows users to select a more upright or deeper seating position. The back cushion is removable and can be taken off when the sofa bed is opened, providing additional sleeping length.
The frame is constructed from eucalyptus wood and plywood, creating a supportive internal structure. The outer upholstery is made from polyester chenille fabric, which covers the seat and back cushion surfaces. The pull-out pop-up mechanism forms the sleeping platform when extended.
